Testing Requirements

We have our testing requirements online for your convenience. Feel free to print them off and use them at home in preparation for your next test. Keep in mind these testing requirements are a minimum and are subject to change and/or addition as we continue to grow and adapt to the needs of our students.

When testing, we expect you to show up on time (early) with a clean uniform and to be prepared both mentally and physically. Most tests will last approximately 90 minutes.

Upper rank tests can last up to two hours, with Black Belt tests lasting as long as three. Unlike most other schools, we do not charge testing fees and do not guarantee a passing test.

A martial arts tournament - the La Crosse Open - attracted 100 students from all seven martial arts studios in La Crosse County on April 24, including H&H Karate in Onalaska and an AKF team from the Onalaska YMCA. more >
