Tae Kwon Do
In our Tae Kwon Do and Self Defense program, we specialize in teaching self esteem through self defense and the martial arts. We feel it is important to provide a safe, comfortable environment for our students to learn in. Students learn the fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do and self defense with a emphasis on developing their character and mental focus. We have classes that are broken up by age and rank as well as mixed classes with all ages and all skill levels. We teach traditional Tae Kwon Do with elements of Judo and Hapkido mixed in.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a larger, stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique, most notably, by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat them. Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is adults only and focuses on physcial conditioning and technique.
Tai Chi Chuan
Tai Chi Chuan is an internal Chinese martial art. It is practiced through a system of slow meditative physical exercise designed for relaxation, balance and health. There are different styles of Tai Chi Chuan, but most modern schools can trace their development to the system originally taught by the Chen family to the Yang family starting in 1820.
